Rachelle Lefevre
Rachelle Lefevre is a Canadian. In the course of waiting tables, she was found by one of the Canadian film producer, who she then helped the aspiring actress land her first acting gig. Lefevre subsequently moved from Canada to Los Angeles, where she gained a spot on the television programme What About Brian (2006). When Lefevre was working at a Montreal sushi restaurant in her teen years an uninvolved customer was informed about her acting aspirations and brought her in contact with an acting director. The result was a Canadian TV sitcom. Her appearances in David E. Kelley's Boston Legal (2003) led her to play the lead David E. Kelley's 2008 U.S. version of the BBC successful Life on Mars (2009). Lefevre was born as a child in Montreal in her father's French family, however she grew to speak mostly English. Landed her biggest film role so far in Catherine Hardwicke's adaptation of Stephenie Meyer's Twilight, the first in the series of popular teenage novels with vampires.
