Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise is a popular American author, performer and actress well known for her character Ginger Grant in the 1960s television show Gilligan's Island. Bettle's Two's Company musical was the first show she performed in for her first stage appearance. Thereafter she acted in numerous Broadway productions before making it big on the national theatre space with Li'l Abner' in the year 1957. In 1957, she also launched her first album of music entitled It's Time for Tina. Her first appearance in Hollywood was in the role of Griselda in God's Little Acre, which was a 1958 film. The film was met with wide acclaim. Louise won the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the year category. In New York, Louise enrolled at Actors Studio and began her relationships to Lee Strasberg. Her next role that she played in the role of Ginger Grant, which CBS hired her to play in the year 1964. Louise continued to have a successful professional career balancing Broadway TV with Hollywood and portraying somber rather than the glamorous image that she received. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. She has also appeared in SG-1 as well as Helen Magnus, but in the past few years has gained recognition as a director on several well-known TV shows such as Supernatural. The family she was born into moved to Essex to Toronto in the year she was born, and there she resided for growing up and in adolescence. When she was selected in 1997 to play Samantha Carter she settled down in Vancouver and has lived there since then.
